What began as a simple journaling app called August has transformed into a platform for reflection and connection that lights a path for growth and harnessing strong and rich memories. One of the founders named it August because of the personal significance the month held for him. August once symbolized dread and fear—another year older meant more responsibility and rising expectations. But he wanted to reclaim that month, to find ease again, like in his youth.
